International Postgraduate Medical Training Scheme (IPGMTS)

With a long history supported by the Royal Colleges, the UK's medical specialized training is truly world class. IPGMTS intends to supply medical specialized training in England, providing the candidates a full duplication of NHS competence-based training. Once the prospects have finished the program they go back to their sponsor country to put their skills into practice, leading in service arrangement in their chosen field.


IPGMTS students are sponsored by abroad federal governments or organizations and are supernumerary to the UK's medical workforce needs. They match British students on existing training programmes. Places are minimal and just open via government to government arrangements.
